And many replied to this and seemed to like it. But, as expected, there came two replies,
NOW, What I meant with the tweet:
I HAVE NEVER INTENDED TO COMPARE TWEETUPS and SATYAGRAHAS. Bah !! Who will do that ?!!
I love the country as much as (if not more) you do

Yesterday I saidTwitter would've been so much useful to Gandhiji. He could've organised Satyagrahas with the ease with which we organise tweetups !!
And many replied to this and seemed to like it. But, as expected, there came two replies,
@AravindJose I take the pun; still, tweetups = satyagrahas? May be I'm getting older, but I just cant digest.
@AravindJose Satayagrahas = Tweetups?! Your social media usage thoughts are good but maybe a better example cud've been used
NOW, What I meant with the tweet:
My tweet intended to convey the painstaking efforts with which Gandhi might've organised protests and satyagrahas. Even at that time, where there was no mass social media tool, he successfully organised and carried out events.
Keeping this in view, I meant, if there was some social media tool, he could've organised it with much little pain.
That's all.
I HAVE NEVER INTENDED TO COMPARE TWEETUPS and SATYAGRAHAS. Bah !! Who will do that ?!!

@AravindJose Heh! Imagine: RT @bapu Satyagraha march from Dandi at 4 am tomorrow. Confirm presence on Facebook event page.
@AravindJose DON'T. mainstream media will pick up the meme as 'Twittergiri' and we won't hear the end of it.
@AravindJose If Twitter existed back then, we probably wouldn't need Gandhiji. We could have driven them out ourselves.
@AravindJose LOL - Good point about Mahatma & Satyagraha :-)

Write out a short story. Bag $1000. Entry FREE !!
I came across TextNovel : Create, read and share stories with your cellphone or online who are conducting a very cool contest that offers $1000 as price money.
Best story determined by votes and judges. Contest ends December 31, 2008. See Contest Rules for more details.
At first, I was deeply interested, but was disappointed to see that it's open for only US Residents.
So, I thought, I would share it with the world, so that somebody could benefit from it. :)
And BTW, in the contest rules page, they says:"

open only to residents of the United States and those states where the Contest is not allowed by law.
Now what does that mean ?? Doesn't that typo really hurt their overall identity? Anyways, I'm gonna tell 'em about it, straightaway.

The First Ever Problem I faced on Posterous
No doubt that Posterous is getting better and better every day, if not every second.
But, unfortunately, the last post I've sent haven't been published till now (after 25 mins).
Now, this is another one to test whether there's some real problem existing with my posterous.
Hoping this would get published. :)

Lalbagh was established in 1760, 248 years ago !!!I would love to be there today, But, I can't.
And yes, this too is now added to the list of events to be attended next year, i.e. after I finish the schools completely..To uphold it's name of the "techiest" city in India,
"For the first time ever the Mysore Horticulturtal Society is offering iTickets for the Indian Independence Day Flower Show being conducted from 9th August 2008 to 17th August 2008." LalBagh on Wikipedia

I'm decided to Go !!
Recently, I came across Diovo where I read an interesting post : "Start today. Refine tomorrow."
It calls for launching projects or doing things without waiting for the BEST MOMENT. Launch, and it'll get refined on the way.
Being inspired by this and a short yet inspirational post at StudioWordPress by Mayank, made me to decide upon launching or planning a web project which have been on my mind for one month or so.
I cannot explicitly state what I'm upto, at this point of time; but I'm planning to do something that interests me a lot.
I believe I need only that to keep me rowing !!
